The Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology (ISMB-97)
The organizers have applied for funding from public sources to support fellowships for young (i.e., pre- and post-doctoral research) scientists from EU member states as well as nationals from Iceland and Norway who wish to attend the conference. Fellowship applications are also open to citizens from other countries, providing they have been conducting research in a EU member state for 12 months or more.
There is some money available from DoE, and the organizers have applied for money from NSF, to help defray travel expenses for students, post-docs, and other young researchers from the United States.
The organizers will be applying for funding from other national and international funding agencies in the coming months and we hope to be able to announce further fellowship opportunities in due course.
