The hotel is a popular venue for international meetings, and will have facilities for all aspects of the conference: auditorium for talks, smaller rooms for tutorials, reception area. The Porto Carras Resort has four- and five-star hotels with a casino and various facilities, including a large marina and a secluded beach. It is about 100km from Thessaloniki.

Sithonia is the central peninsula of Halkidiki in Macedonia, mainland Greece, protruding into the Northern Aegean sea.

Climate

Warm, mediterranean. Very pleasant. Cool breeze from the ocean in the afternoons. Average temperatures around 25-30 C (77-86 F). A rainy day in June is very unlikely, but always possible. More information is available. Check out the weather online.
